How to Delete Your Data from buyve.me?
In compliance with the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and WhatsApp platform requirements, we provide the following options to request the deletion of your personal data.
Options to Delete Your Data
Option 1: Delete Account from the Platform
If you have access to your account:
- Log in to cotizador-frontend-ekof.onrender.com
- Go to Settings → My Account
- Select "Delete my account and data"
- Confirm the deletion
Note: This action is irreversible and will permanently delete:
- Your user account
- Conversation history
- Request for quotations (RFQ)
- Uploaded files
- WhatsApp messages
Option 2: Request via Email
If you don't have access to your account or prefer assistance:

Subject: Data Deletion Request (ARCO Right - Cancellation)
Include:
- Full name
- Registered email address
- Phone number (if you used WhatsApp)
- Copy of official identification (INE/IFE or passport)
- Description of the data you want deleted

Process and Response Times
Data That Will Be Deleted
When requesting complete deletion of your account, the following will be deleted:
- Account information: Username, password, email, phone
- Profile data: Name, company information
- Generated content: Request for quotations (RFQ), bill of materials (BOM)
- Communications: Messages, conversations with AI agents, WhatsApp history
- Files: Uploaded documents, generated PDFs, images
- Technical records: Session logs, authentication tokens
Exceptions and Mandatory Retention
Important: Some data may be retained due to legal obligations:
- Tax records: Billing data must be retained for 7 years (SAT)
- Audit records: Basic security logs may be retained for up to 2 years
- Anonymized data: Aggregate statistics without personally identifiable information
- Legal disputes: Data related to ongoing legal proceedings
We will specifically inform you which data, if any, cannot be deleted and why.
Data in Third-Party Systems
We will delete your data from our systems, but some data may persist in third-party systems according to their policies:
- WhatsApp/Meta: Messages may remain on WhatsApp servers according to their retention policy
- AI Services: Data sent to AI services (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.) is governed by their policies
- Infrastructure providers: Backups on AWS S3 and Render.com may take up to 90 days to be completely deleted
We will provide links to deletion policies for these services upon request.

If you're not sure about completely deleting your account, consider these options:
- Temporarily deactivate account: Keep your data but deactivate your account
- Limit data use: Request that we limit the use of your data
- Export your data: Download a copy of your data before deleting it (Right to Portability)
- Modify privacy settings: Adjust what data we share and how we use it

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I recover my account after deleting it?
No. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. We recommend exporting your data before proceeding if you need to keep any information.
How long does the complete process take?
The complete legal process may take up to 35 business days (20 to respond + 15 to execute). However, we begin deletion as soon as we verify your identity.
What happens to my WhatsApp messages?
We will delete your WhatsApp message history from our servers. However, messages on WhatsApp/Meta servers are governed by their retention policy.
Does this affect other users?
Conversations and quotations shared with other users may maintain anonymous references to your interactions to preserve the integrity of their records.
Can I request deletion of only certain data?
Yes. Select "Partial Deletion" in the form and specify which data you want deleted. We will evaluate your request and inform you if it's possible.
